Registration Fee Payment Confirmation Cancellation Conference Check-in Student Travel Support Hotel Information Entry into Japan (VISA)

Those wishing to participate in the ICSB-2006 have to register either using a PDF registration form, which you can download from the website, or going to on-line registration page.

Note: Registration for tutorials / workshops should be made via each organizer's website.

Registration Fee

Registration fees include:

• Admission to all oral and poster Sessions
• A final program booklet
• An abstracts CD-ROM
• Coffee and refreshments
• Admission to the Welcome Reception scheduled on October 9, 2006
• Tutorials scheduled on October 8*

Registration fees do not include Pre- and post-conference workshops.

Note:

• Tutorials*
  In order to participate in one or two of the tutorials, you have to pre-register on-line. After examining actual number of registered participants to each tutorial, we will decide room allocation. Participants have to make a final registration to each tutorial after room allocation has been made. Please visit each tutorial website from the tutorials section and make a final registration.



• Banquet fee**
  Banquet is scheduled to take place on October 10 in the evening as dinner. Those wishing to take part are required to pay JPY 8,000 per person. You may be able to bring your spouse or friends who have not registered to the conference, but you have to purchase banquet tickets well in advance. There will be a limitation in seat availability, so book early!

• Students need to provide a photocopy of their student ID or a letter from their mentor on university stationery indicating that he/she is a full time student. A post-doc would be categorized as a regular participant.
• There is no category to register as an accompanying person. Those wishing to participate in the meeting have to register either as Regular participant or Student participant.

ADVANCE REGISTRATION DEADLINE

• Early registration: On and before June 30, 2006.
• Late registration: On and before September 8 August 31, 2006.
• After October 1 September 9: all registrants have to pay on-site registration fees.

Payment

You are requested to pay necessary amounts in Japanese yen (JPY), either by bank transfer or credit card.

Registration Confirmation

An e-mail response will be sent to you to confirm your registration. If you have not received a confirmation e-mail within two weeks of your registration, please contact the Registration Office.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be sent in writing to the ICSB-2006 Registration Office by September 9 August 31, 2006. Full payment minus 5,000 yen for handling fees will be refunded. No refunds will be made after that date. No telephone cancellations will be accepted.

Conference Check-in

Conference check-in will begin at 08:00 a.m. on October 8 in the lobby of the Pacifico Yokohama. Upon check-in, participants will receive a bag with final program, name badge and other information.

Student Travel Support

The 7th International Conference on Systems Biology (ICSB-2006) expects to provide some degree of student travel support for some student participants --- on the basis of need and being a student (co-)author.

Application Process

Students hoping to receive some student travel support for ICSB-2006 are asked to send in an application with:

• name
• institution
• address
• email
• phone number / fax number
• expected travel costs
• amount of support expected from the student's home institution
• brief note from advisor attesting to exact amount of need
• poster number of your poster abstract(s) accepted at ICSB-2006.
